Last weekend was one for the record books. While it’s true that RenegadeRadio.Net started out and has always have a love for the local scene, we drifted over the years. Well, Last Saturday night, local bands Bedlam, Empiires and Lowside took over T’s in Lewisville, TX and Renegade Radio was invited back into the scene.
We dove back in with open arms and let me tell you – this was one hell of a WELCOME HOME party!
Bedlam frontman Shawn Michael Scotton invited us to host their set and come hang out and it just felt right. The right time for me to shift my own focus and grow in many different ways. We brought back some items from “back in the day” to celebrate the cause as Bedlam winded down their set by tossing Renegade Radio shirts into the crowd.
The Bedlam set is always high energy and great evening of original music. The highlight was the live version of their latest hit, Drive to Where the Rain Begins.
Empiires took the stage next and as usual, lead man Bishop Booker kicked up his energy to an insane level and does not let off the gas til the show is over.
Sometimes, not even then. Man just has that much SHOW in his veins!
Drifting between original music and some classic cover tunes they decided to make their own, Empiires is certainly at the top of their game here in the local scene.
Now, onto the legendary Ron Taylor and the guys in Lowside. The talent in this band is simply insane and it’s pretty much a party on and off the stage for their entire set. As you can see from the pictures, the energy continued all night long until well after closing time at T’s.
Make sure you look up all these local Dallas bands and lets show some love for the locals and hit a few shows. You can always come back here to RenegadeRadio.Net as we dive right back into our old stomping grounds and show you where to find bands such as these.
Then get out there and have your own amazing night of high energy local music!
