The East-West Shrine Bowl is an annual college football all-star game, typically held in January featuring standout players from various college football programs, separated into two teams.
The game serves as a showcase for these athletes, many of whom are hoping to improve their draft stock for the NFL Draft. In addition to the game, the event includes practices, interviews, and networking opportunities, providing players with exposure to NFL coaches, scouts, and executives. The Shrine Bowl also has a philanthropic aspect, supporting the Shriners Hospitals for Children, with proceeds from the game benefiting the charity.
The East team, led by Atlanta Falcons Head Coach Marquice Williams, delivered a dominant performance to secure a 25-0 victory over the West in this year’s East-West Shrine Bowl with Offensive MVP: RB Jacory Croskey-Merritt and Defensive MVP: CB O’Donnell Fortune.
