we all get emotional about things we care about. but if in the end i don't want to go to CBZ, then i just don't go.

i don't need to ask trick to ban me. that's not fair to him.

i do have issue with posts being deleted and over the years my posting there has dropped. likely to continue.

but they pay for it, it's their site. their right to run it their way.

we still get emotional when we care. so we obviously care about CBZ.

if i'm done there i'll walk away. no one needs to ban me and i don't need a goodbye thread.

i just need to move on, on my own.

Guys... I can't discuss what we talk about in the Mod Zone, but it is NOTHING like you think... I promise...

I can tell you that some posts are deleted preemptively because of how other posters respond...

None of you are in the bad graces of any mod at CZ... I can promise you that...

Trick gave me my very first rebuke. A pathetically bad joke several years ago comparing France and Canada. I had just started posting coming from Roberts old forum. Wg is an issue in my opinion.

I'm compelled to say that I've never had any problems with WG. She's been very helpful to me in the past. Maybe she just likes me.

Yeah, that's what I'll tell myself...solely for purposes of stoking my ego after VTA's devastating comments about me.

hos just spanked me (and i don't disagree i went overboard in my reaction) but it's actually in the rules "we'll delete what we feel like and leave if you don't like it" more or less.

keeping it family safe is one thing, pre-emptive deletions is just to vague to me and something for me to figure out at this point.

I am going to chime in here on this subject. I love that the zone keeps it family friendly. I think they should continue to do that. My frustration is the same as yours however in that often times something is done unilaterally by a mod and there is no discussion of why it was done. You are left to wonder why and what was wrong. Unless you have violated a blatant rule, often times you don't know what the problem was. A lack of communication often causes more issues than straight up telling someone why.

Further, an example was my daughter's contest thread. It was deleted with no explanation. I had to chase down a few mods before I got an explanation. Then I had permission to post it in my sig, then THAT got deleted with no explanation. I had to again chase down a mod to find out what the deal was. I was pissed that no one had the courtesy to ask me what the deal was or to even address it with me first.

Their was a compromise and things got worked out but a lot of it could have been dealt with if someone just communicated BEFORE action was taken. Same deal with MH's jersey. If they would have communicated with him prior he could have explained his situation before they pulled the trigger.

We get great communication when we get an infraction, believe me, I have had a few, but post deletes and thread deletes and such, it leaves too much to the imagination.

Anyway, at the end of the day, the Zone is a great place to go to read and converse with fellow Cowboy fans and we get to know a lot people on an individual basis a lot of the time. But they are not perfect as none of us are but this is one area where they really need to concentrate on with regards to communication BEFORE they do something to get the full story.

WG has issues, but then again so do I.

I have saved some of the PM's back and forth but unfortunately she deleted the actual posts before I could save them. Her belief system and code of ethics is questionable. She does not like anyone challenging her and prefers to subtly attack the people that do. She would make an excellent DMV employee. She is also a dishonest person. I get the feeling she does not lie and deceive others on purpose...it's almost like it is a built in flaw she is unaware of...almost pathological.
