We do that much of the time, but we also make mistakes...

well i really don't wanna know what goes on from the modzone, but from the userzone, it's highly frustrating to get deleted without word or question. you're made to feel like you're the problem and yea, last night i just lost it because what i said, whatever it was, wasn't that big a deal.

some posters MAKE it a big deal but i don't see why you don't deal with them vs. "dumb down" the rest of us.

Today he PM me to tell me he was deleting my thread in the market zone.
I placed an add trying to sell my Emmitt Smith autographed jersey.
He told me it was brought to his attention that the autograph was a forgery.
I know it is not because I had the Certificate of Authenticity for the item.
I explained in the thread that it was indeed the real deal,but the COA was lost.
I am a lot of things,but I am no criminal.And ripping off fellow Cowboys fans of their hard earned cash is not how I do business.
Selling counterfeit merch across state lines is a felony.
He accused me of being a felon by notification and deletion.Actions speak louder than words.
If anybody in the cbz had any questions,and there were,I would put my word behind it and offer a full refund if not satisfied or thought the item was not legit.
Mr A. did not give me the courtesy nor benefit of doubt and deleted the thread.

Metal... NOTHING like what happened on discussion about your jersey... and the person that reported it was looking out for YOU... he didn't want you to get discredited because he felt it was fake... and some others concurred...

The decision was made on your reputation and behalf whether you want to believe that or not... promise...

maybe that's just it. you can't "pre-emptively fix issues" and doing that makes us feel like the bad guys.

why put him into question if *no one knows* if it's fake or not. let metal look out for himself and trust him to do the right thing.

Believe me... we know the user base well... and there is a LOT that goes on behind the scenes as far as users that people don't realize... we've pulled the trigger on 20k+ post count members... there is no favoritism...

I actually banned a longtime friend of mine because he couldn't keep it in check...

so if i just started deleting your posts here, never said why or sent a PM, how would you feel? i'm NOT trying to be confrontational, but deleting posts because of how some nutt-nugget would react means i have to curb what i say cause said nutt-nugget is an asshole.

i honestly don't remember. but if i broke a rule i'd get a PM and a warning. i just went back and it was back to not having even replied in the thread, so my post, whatever it was, got deleted by someone.

no reason given. no PM, no "infraction" - it was just gone.

hos just spanked me (and i don't disagree i went overboard in my reaction) but it's actually in the rules "we'll delete what we feel like and leave if you don't like it" more or less.

keeping it family safe is one thing, pre-emptive deletions is just to vague to me and something for me to figure out at this point.
