i love his idea for what is next.
i agree.
but i asked how he can talk about content while he edits it...
i got deleted from his new baby.
don't tell me you're fighting for content while you delete me.

Wait...say that again...?
scott runs cbz. he does a damn good job at it.
recently he said he wanted to find a better way to share content.
then he deleted me disagreeing with him.

Is he running some sort of Facebook type thing? I remember him posting and asking for volunteers a few weeks ago.
no - what actually happened was i got tired of my random comments being deleted. cowboy mccoy said something stupid, i replied and i thought i was within the rules, and i got deleted - the post, not me.
no explanation, nothing. this is what really bothers me. they have a HUGE set of rules for just about everything. if i violate a rule, correct it and warn me. but this random deletion of posts w/o explanation that don't appear to violate the war and peace of rules bugs me.
so he's how to find a better way to share content while his site determines what content is even allowed.
that pissed me off. cowboy mccoy can start shit all the time and that's ok. responding isn't however.
as for being deleted from his private development forum, i asked for that so that was my call. just odd to see someone working hard to share content while they dictate it.

About half of my posts in the last two months have been deleted. Over half the threads I started or participated in, carefully following their guidelines, have been deleted or closed. I am never given a reason for the deletions. It is what it is. The only reason I participate in the off topic zone is to recruit new folks for this forum. There are only a dozen or so people that have anything worthwhile to share anyway.
There are certain mods at the zone that abuse their powers. At times they are so blinded by their own bias the do not realize how hypocritical they are. I see thread after thread where mods participate in an aggressive manner, just to see another mod come along and close it when a certain perspective is shared.

that's what bugged me. scott didn't delete me, i just got mad and threw this out there.
it's so hard to keep up with a convo when you get deleted at random for no real apparant reason. that just annoys the living snot out of me. i was likely flippant to cowboy mccoy but hell, he's ALWAYS that way and he's still around. his main goal in life really seems to be just to "get to" people and annoy then. but if you get annoyed you're the one who gets deleted without warning or word.
if you have rules, use them. don't do this judgement crap that changes from mod to mod.
i've just noticed over time the place seems to be a whinefest and people laying down .05¢ opinions as if they're football gods. not sure how you stop it or even if you should to be honest. but it does make me post there a lot less than i used to. if many of my replies are getting bitter there then yea, that's on me. but i never saw "don't be bitter" in the rules. even if i did it wouldn't matter because they'll just delete what they feel could cause an issue, isn't necessary, or they just feel like deleting a post.
the only posts i delete here are spammers and now i'm having more fun editing them and letting other "human" spammers know this is what i will do to their post to see if that stops them from telling me where to buy sunglasses or nikes.
i keep going to the zone out of habit and i was honestly looking forward to working on that project. but getting random deletes to my posts just pisses me off.
i either broke a rule or i didn't.
so very tired of the rest of the crap.

Scott A. hates me.
Welcome to the club.
Scott is allergic to dissent.
He asks suggestions and when you disagree, his panties get all in a bunch and the fuse in his tampon experiences spontaneous combustion.
