“There is so much wrong with it, I don’t know where to start,” Press said. “It’s an abomination.”

Among the abominations Press cited were that the Anthem is not singable because it is two octaves, contains “military jargon” like “bombs bursting in air” and “rocket’s red glare.”

Press was also bothered by the phrase “home of the brave.”

“Are we the only ones that are brave on the planet?,” Press asked. “I think it’s stupid ... I am embarrassed every time I hear it.”

Not that I'm ragging on you for posting this, of course, there's just a great amount of irony (=:0 - big argument about irony at the CBZ) in that when someone is given the focus treatment for every bit of offal that falls out of their mouth, they are then brought into a public awareness along with their nonsense.

It's sort of like that Snooki - scientist meme that's making the rounds. I wouldn't know who the hell Snooki is if the people that claim to hate her didn't obsess over her.

I think what's important to know as well as that despite the bluster and noise and show, most of this nation of 300 million people does not agree with the nonsense being propagated through the Democratic party. Polls are full shit, but the sheer coverage given in a controlled media setting makes it seem as though this country has turned as far away from it's foundations as it really has.
