Unfortunately many including the representatives and those that vote for them have forgotten the original intent of the Senate and the House. They were supposed to play distinct roles but those roles have blurred into "what have you done for me lately".

Oh, the House was always meant to be a "what have you done for me lately?" body, that's why members are elected every two years and why they represent smaller constituencies.

Reagan was the last guy who dealt with a threat like this. He along with Margret Thatcher brought down the soviet Union and communism. We need another Reagan to do the same thing with the evil that is China and their oppressive regime.

We're in a pretty good position concerning China. If they want to push towards becoming the regional hegemon, there will be a ready coalition of the U.S., India, South Korea, and Japan to act as a balancing force. Even Russia won't want China to grow into a hegemonic power.
