White House enters controversy over Limbaugh comments on Georgetown student

Just so we are clear, this chick can afford to pay for Georgetown University but can't afford to pay for her own birth control? Maybe she should not be spreading her legs so often if she can't afford to take care of herself. This whole debate has become ridiculous. The dems keep claiming the republicans want to prevent women from using birth control, which is an out right lie. They just want women to pay for the things they feel they need instead of forcing other to pay for it for them. If this is the best and brightest GTU is turning out, we are doomed.

As far as her quote...."No woman deserves to be disrespected in this manner."

How about no tax payer deserves to be forced to pay for your sex acts. How about you pay your own damn way. How about you stop spreading your legs and begging for handouts. How about that! These stupid little college punks don't have a clue.

President Obama injected himself Friday into the controversy over Rush Limbaugh's comments about a Georgetown University student who testified on contraceptive coverage -- effectively elevating the issue, with some Democrats even trying to raise money off it.

The president called the student, Sandra Fluke, on Friday afternoon to express his disappointment in the "personal attacks" against her, White House Press Secretary Jay Carney said.

Limbaugh, on his radio show earlier this week, had called Fluke a "slut" following her comments in favor of mandatory contraceptive coverage.

Fluke also released a statement on Thursday saying: "No woman deserves to be disrespected in this manner."

You can only think, this administration knows this is going to completely exhaust this country. It's going to open a flood gate of all other 'medical' bills for people who aren't sick or trying to keep from being 'sick'. Which of course will in turn, drive up prices for everyone, and eventually bankrupt our system.

On how many fronts can he destroy personal choices and liberties, while appealing to dopes who think they're civil rights leaders?

The foolishness of the people who abide this shit is basically insurmountable. These counter culture slobs have really done a fine job of coordinating their attacks on this country that they hate so much.Tthrough entertainment, a subversion of the educational system, etc. And we see the fruits of their labors: An entirely delusional generation that thinks they're entitled to everything the world has to offer, simply because they are born.

Our great foundation is entirely cheapened as stooges stand before the institutions of our system, entertained as they cry for things they're not at all entitled to.
    RIP America.

i just really can't believe that anyone feels they have the right for just about anything and everything free. are free condoms next? basic health supplies like band aids, asprin, first aid kits and so forth, should those now be on the list also?

i don't necessarily agree on calling her a "slut" but if you stand up and say something stupid, or make a stupid request, you get a stupid response.

Condoms? No. It's the story behind the story, which is pharma companies spending millions in R&D on contraceptive drugs and then lobbying Washington to create consumers for them to make billions off of their drugs. (<--- keep an eye on that, that falls under 'job creation'). Religion us brought in as a red-herring and the imbeciles fight over the false pretext and ignore the truth. That they are commodity for anyone with enough money to buy our nations system for perverted profits.

Didn't the right side of the aisle bring the issue up as a "Separation of Church and State" (aka religion) issue??

Regardless. Looks like the Market is regulating Rush with him losing advertisers. Can't imagine conservative talk radio with Rush. I see him as the Godfather of the Republican Party.

No, the administration attempting to force religious institutions to provide contraceptives, knowing full well it would be met with opposition, did.

This may be a great wedge issue for the Republicans in the fall. Do you think this will put the Republican nominee 10 points ahead of Obama or maybe just 4-5 points up?

Given the current climate, I'm not sure it will even matter. Partisan support is now based entirely on subjective reasoning and the wrongs committed by a partisan idol will not at all be acknowledged.

I strongly doubt the Republicans will touch on the truth of this matter, apart from the red herring and will continue to fight the pretext. Religion was brought in for a reason, because it's a very deep dividing line now and it won't sit well in 'popular' views of what we should be focusing on in our society. Both sides are complicit.

Sandra Fluke, Gender Reassignment, and Health Insurance

Sandra Fluke is being sold by the left as something she's not. Namely a random co-ed from Georgetown law who found herself mixed up in the latest front of the culture war who was simply looking to make sure needy women had access to birth control. That, of course, is not the case.

As many have already uncovered Sandra Fluke she is, in reality, a 30 year old long time liberal activist who enrolled at Georgetown with the express purpose of fighting for the school to pay for students' birth control. She has been pushing for mandated coverage of contraceptives at Georgetown for at least three years according to the Washington Post.

However, as I discovered today, birth control is not all that Ms. Fluke believes private health insurance must cover. She also, apparently, believes that it is discrimination deserving of legal action if "gender reassignment" surgeries are not covered by employer provided health insurance. She makes these views clear in an article she co-edited with Karen Hu in the Georgetown Journal of Gender and the Law.

I knew this chick was a left wing fruit loop. She needs to get a job and learn how to pay for the garbage she wants.

I know I have been away for a while but this is a good place to jump back in.

First of all if this broad is going broke as she said in trying to keep herself in contraception then she should keep her legs closed. She says she needs the government (Read you and me) to pay her 3,000.00 per year to keep her in contraceptives. Really? She is having THAT much sex? If that's true, if she had as many sticking out of her as she did stuck in her she would look like a porcupine. And by definition if she is having that much sex, and to look at her I doubt it, then she is indeed a slut.

Then That jackass of a President calls her up and tells her that her parents should be proud of her. For what? Taking their money and turning college into her own private orgy? I bet they are proud. But only if they are left wing idiots like Obama. But I don't remember Obama calling Palin when she was called a whore. Or Laura Ingram when she was called a slut by Bill Mahr (a one million dollar Obama donor). Did he call Michelle Malkin when she was called a cross eyed gook? No. The fuax outrage at Rush Limbaugh by the left is typically hypocritical.

Personally, I don't think he should have apologized. She put herself out there and if she is "shocked" by his commentary then she is dumber than a sack of condoms, which she obviously knows something about.

Truth is, this bimbo is just what Rush said she is. A slut. In and of itself, if that's the road she chooses to go down, it's her own choice, but don't ask me and other tax payers pick up the tab for her getting laid every night.
