    80s video games

what are your top 5 video games that were alive and well in the 80s?

    TRON
    Vanguard
Dragons Lair (but gameplay was boring once you figured it out)
    Xevious
Track N Field - i could cheat so bad at this game.

looking at games today they smoke the games of hte 80s, but sometimes i think todays games are too real and lose sight of being a game.

It's difficult for me to remember a few games. LOL

Two games I played to death were....

    Elite
    Civilization

In fact I have played four versions of Civ, with Civ3 being the best. :-)

Early 80's, I liked PacMan, Centipede and later on Defender. Later 80's, I actually got to enjoy Super Mario Bros. 1, 2 & 3 on the Nintendo platform.

How about crappiest 80's games ever played? Or at least the most rediculous...

As gaming evolves and we’re now able to fight our way through realistic warzones, face hordes of undead or stop nuclear attacks from giant robots, I can’t help but feel like video games just aren’t as fun anymore. Don’t get me wrong, I love next generation gaming as much as the next guy! However, you have to admit that the 80’s golden age of gaming was a lot more lighthearted and enjoyable than wading through a Modern Warfare Veteran difficulty. So step back in time with me and let’s recall some of the greatest games of the 80’s.
