Washington Times: The Civil War of 2016

First, Canada Free Press' Doug Hagmann claimed to have a DHS insider feeding him info. It's not pretty.

But of course that must be a conspiracy theory... well, until Washington Times points out that military brass is admitting that this is pretty much what they're retasking the military and domestic security agencies to do. And remember, when the government admits to "thinking about" doing something shocking, it's usually after it's well under way.

Two different write-ups that touch a similar subject - a civil war. The Canada Free Press guy claims to have an inside informant in DHS feeding him info that they're gearing up for a war against the citizens around the 2012 elections. The WashTimes piece is about an article that came out this month in Small Wars Journal where the military basically admits that they're wargaming scenarios in a Civil War here. But they put the hypothetical date as 2016. Keep in mind that if they admit to something this shocking (and I'd say publshing it is an admission) then you can bet your donuts that it's already well under way, even if they claim it's four years off. During the first Gulf War, around 1991, they unveiled the "brand new" F117 stealth fighter. That we'd actually had since the 1970s, but was classified. They only let you know yesterday's news. Also keep in mind that the 2016 date is part of the fictional framework in which actual strategic policy shift is nestled, so don't put too much stock in the date from the military journal. Put your stock in the shift ... from hunting down Al Qaeda to hunting down US citizens amid an econmic/political crisis. But since the CFP article was written, many of these ammo sales, armored fighting vehcile sales, and mobile bullet-proof checkpoint booth sales have come to light, and this month that article showed up in Small Wars Journal, lending disturbing credibility to Canada Free Press article.
