I'm certainly not against people arming themselves. Even though I don't own a gun, I'm all for it.
The less sitting ducks there are, the more likely people will think twice about doing this shit, aside from the kinds who have a death wish and plan to kill themselves at the end anyway.

I'm just commenting on this particular situation as being a very difficult one.

I swear to God those people are freaking nuts. I got banned because I said that the shooting in Colo. Could have been minimized if more people had guns to protect themselves. AND this was in response to BRainPaint's post that said it wouldn't have mattered. His post came AFTER his warning so I thought this was fair game. I'm sorry but they have such a screwed up sense of justice over there. I wonder if BP was banned as well? I would imagine it was him who did that though because he can't take people taking him on. There are few over there that are cool like trick and MW and Hos (I can see why he quit over there) but the rest of them are full of shit and infantile brats. Oh, and I wonder if they think I will lose some sleep over this. LOL.

In the CZ thread, one of the points I've been hinting at (rather than expressly stating) is that Aurora, Colorado has some strict anti-gun laws. They prohibit concealed carry, and they're a Gun Free zone. Those laws didn't prevent this tragedy.

In fairness, there have been times in which I thought the mods were giving our side the upper hand.

But, yeah, in this particular debate, it's clear the mods are giving the anti-gun side more leeway than the pro-gun side.
