I swear to God those people are freaking nuts. I got banned because I said that the shooting in Colo. Could have been minimized if more people had guns to protect themselves. AND this was in response to BRainPaint's post that said it wouldn't have mattered. His post came AFTER his warning so I thought this was fair game. I'm sorry but they have such a screwed up sense of justice over there. I wonder if BP was banned as well? I would imagine it was him who did that though because he can't take people taking him on. There are few over there that are cool like trick and MW and Hos (I can see why he quit over there) but the rest of them are full of shit and infantile brats. Oh, and I wonder if they think I will lose some sleep over this. LOL.

It's blatantly obvious that certain mods can't separate their politics from their moderation. In my sig, I used to have a fairly innocuous quotation from Ronald Reagan about the nature of the free market. BP made me remove it. Yet, numerous posters have sig lines that denigrate religion and attack Christianity as well as avatars with pictures of Richard Dawkins.

Admittedly, it can be frustrating. However, I believe in the free market, and CZ is and should be allowed to run their site as they see fit. If it becomes too bothersome, I can go elsewhere or start my own site. That's the beauty of the free market.

Of course it wouldn't get shut down. How else could BP spout his ignorant crap? He just doesn't like when someone challenges him with real world facts. I'm not sure it was him who did it because they don't tell you that. It could have been that vindictive witch or BP. But they didn't even send me a pm before hand. Add to that the fact I responding to a post made by a MOD and this is even more hypocritical than most. I think the Zone has gotten way too big for their britches and a bit over confident as to their place on the web. I do agree they do as they want but they sure don't do themselves any favors by being a bunch of Hypocrites.

I do think it's funny that I got a one week ban and that asshole Canadiancowboy only got a one day ban for mocking CowboyMcCoy about being a bad parent.

I'm not sure the two can be compared. The difference being a much bigger place with almost absolute darkness with no idea where the hostility is coming from, as opposed to a well lit place with the dopes in plain sight. Every situation is it's own and I agree with whoever wrote the opinion that this particular one probably would end up a cluster fuck, with most not even know who's doing the shooting. You pop up and see a guy with a gun, but how do you know he's the guy and not another citizen with a gun? No one would. It was probably pandemonium with no real sense of the situation beyond get me the fuck outta here.

My guess would be the guy with the mask and the two guns blazing and the one who started would be the bad guy. The point was that if more people armed themselves, the less likely this would happen and more punks would be dead. Further, how does anyone know that someone wouldn't have been able to kill this guy before he killed 13 people? The argument against people arming themselves is completely ludicrous.
