    Congrats America!

We are now all socialists! I truly now hate someone. I hate Obama and everything he stands for. And to add to the misery, the one guy who could have thrown the whole damn thing out was Roberts who was supposed to be a conservative. And he sided with the liberals. America is now over! Congrats to the liberals. You fucked up a great thing.

It's not a surprise. Republicrook, Democrap, doesn't matter, they are exactly the same.
It helped the hospital stocks and the government gets a new penalty tax, if God forbid you're out of job and have no insurance. It's win-win for the top tier and lose-lose for the proletariat. Money trumps tradition, foundations, etc.

It's long been out of our hands.

I am ill over this. By the way, stocks tumbled after the news.

    Reuters say's different...

(Reuters) - Shares of hospital chains jumped on Thursday after the U.S. Supreme Court upheld the centerpiece of U.S. President Barack Obama's signature healthcare law.

Mark my words: This is the best thing that could've happened for Romney's election chances. According to a US Chamber of Commerce survey, 73 percent of small businesses cite Obamacare as an obstacle to hiring. If Obamacare had been deemed unconstitutional and therefore overturned, it could very well have led to have a hiring boom that would've bolstered Obama's reelection chances.

Bottom line: Obamacare is very unpopular and most people want the individual mandate repealed. Now, there's only one way that can happen: Electing Mitt Romney.
Reaganomics had four simple principles: lower marginal tax rates, less regulation, restrained government spending, noninflationary monetary policy. Though Reagan did not achieve all of his goals, he made good progress. -- Milton Friedman

This is a CTL+C/CTL+V of the old Social Security court fight. The administration argued to Congress and the public that it wasn't a tax, Heaven's no! It's an insurance policy! Your payments are premiums that go into your personal account and are specifically earmarked for that, and you have legal right to them just like a private plan! When SS got challeneged and landed in the Supreme Court, the same administration went right in front of the Justices and argued that SS wasn't an insurance program, Heaven's no! It's a tax! And as a tax, it's for the general use of the government, and certainly not earmarked in any way for a non-existent insurance program that you certinaly have no legal right to! That would be like a private insurance poilcy, which we're not allowed to do! And since your tax payments are spent for the general use of the government, into your "account" go IOUs. Which you have no legal right to collect on anyway.

I believe this as well. My heart just hurts for the Constitution and what my dad, myself and other served for. It is just sickening.

From a Constitutional perspective, the decision was pretty darn conservative. In fact, you could argue that it did more to benefit both conservative judicial values and the concept of federalism than any other ruling in the past 15+ years.

    Sad day.
In my dream, the world had suffered a terrible disaster. A black haze shut out the sun, and the darkness was alive with the moans and screams of wounded people. Suddenly, a small light glowed. A candle flickered into life, symbol of hope for millions. A single tiny candle, shining in the ugly dark.

I laughed and blew it out.
