Obama Exerts Executive Privilege in Showdown over "Fast and Furious" Docs

Obama and his little bitch are scared. Guess they should not have armed drug cartels. Both deserve to rot in jail the rest of their lives.

Rep. Darrell Issa said Wednesday that he is pressing ahead with a committee vote to hold Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt of Congress, despite an 11th-hour move by President Obama to exert executive privilege over the Fast and Furious documents at the heart of the dispute.

The House Oversight and Government Reform Committee was informed of the president's decision in a letter Wednesday morning, shortly before the contempt vote was scheduled.

"This untimely assertion by the Justice Department falls short of any reason to delay today's proceedings," Issa said.

But Issa's Democratic counterpart, Rep. Elijah Cummings, D-Md., fired back that Holder never made such a demand, and said the attorney general had come to the committee in "good faith" to try and work out an agreement.

Awe, how sweet of him. His good faith clearly should be rewarded.

Curious ... Obama claims to have had *NO* knowledge of F&F, never saw the documents in question, but now claims "executive privilege"? OMG! I think he's lying! In fact, I think they've been lying all along!

    My shocked face:

That was the first thing that crossed my mind. If Obama is as ignorant and uniformed as he claims, why is he claiming executive privilege? He already told us he had no knowledge of the massive movement by the US government to arm narco terrorists, so there is no way he can claim executive privilege over things that do not exist....unless he is the POS scum bag liar we all believe him to be.

First of all obama cannot exert Executive Privilege if he wasn't involved. It is a violation of the statute. But then again, he subverted the Constitution on everything from Obamacare to most recently the granting of immunity from deportation to illegals. Nothing surprises me from this fool.

Holder has been held in contempt. The first piece falls. Good for these treasonous bastards.

I think the committee voted to hold him in contempt and forward that to the full House, where another vote will take place. If voted in contempt there, the US Attorney would then convene a Grand Jury where witnesses could be called, and an indictment issued. If indicted, Holder would face criminal prosecution. Still plenty of opportunities to rig the game between now and then, or a bunch of people to puss out.

Acting along partisan lines, with a vote of 23 to 17, the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee voted this afternoon to hold Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt. Republicans, who control the committee, say Holder's Justice Department has not turned over all the documents that the committee needs to see as it probes the so-called Fast and Furious gun-trafficking operation.

Acting along partisan lines? Nothing at all to do with the acting within the guidelines of law. What kind of loser writes this shit?
