I haven't looked at my Facebook account in about two and a half days. It has been a very liberating experience. I need to try and do that more often. Life is so much more peaceful without it.
At least a year ago, I acquired a cigar box filled with trinkets and a Paco album. One of those trinkets was a fortune cookie. Today I finally decided to open the fortune cookie. After all, it was at least a year old and probably rotting in it's protective plastic pouch. Breaking the stale cookie open, I pulled out the fortune and threw away the the two stale cookie halves. It it weren't for the Renegade Facebook page and so many contacts still using Facebook, I would have deleted my account years ago. The recent straws that finally broke this camel's back was a very judgmental pair of eyes I was forced to friend recently, spammers, and the constant requests to play a game or add an app. All the personal stuff I had on there previously has been deleted or on lock down.
