Venting

you can't go to a single video anymore on youtube (that i've found anyway) where an ad isn't shoved in your face.

so you go to see a video and see an ad and click it and suddenly you're disrupted from what you went there to do to begin with, watch a video. now you're ad surfing and getting bombarded with advertising. once you get started on something someone throws a billboard in your face and if you're even remotely ADD to begin with, how horrible can it be to get all these distracting ...

Currently I have direcTV and it's not bad. i hate the "record" feature when I just want to watch something and that annoys me. then there's the "pregnant pause" feature. Hit the button, bring up the channels, hit "page down" and get told to fuck off. the TV wants to sit there for a bit longer. FINALLY it catches up but it's annoying and even more so on bad days. finally, to order pay per view I just see no friggin reason to have to say "ok" to "enjoy ...
