You know, i've never been a big gamer. I have my xbox 360, and sure i've played a ton on that thing. but PC games? Well. I'm completely out of the loop. although, i do have a shiny new (powerful) PC that likely i could start doing some gaming on.. Hmmmm...

Ohhh shiny. I'm the opposite. I am so bad at console games. The only thing I have shown an aptitude for is the Lego Harry Potter and Lego Pirates of the Caribbean. Lol. The ability to button mash does not help me in the least. Also - where is Mineola? I'm originally from Albany.

There's Lego harry potter and and Pirates of the Caribbean? Wow. Yeah, I'm not much of a gamer. The last video game I played on a regular basis were all of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle games on NES and Super NES. I wonder if there is a Lego Monty Python game. That would be cool.

i'm mostly into XBOX 360 and GTA4. not because we do the missions - we've not seen one in years. but we just like to get nuts and see how many we can kill, how much we can blow up, and how great our death is at the end.

diablo 3 is gonna flat out RULE. you play online? i'll sign up to play online when it launches if we have a RENEGADE group!

you have NO idea. we cheat our asses off, alternate mindsets.

funnest stuff so far:

1. trying to flip an apache upside down. when that fails, trying to jump out at the right time to fling yourself a long distance. a close 2nd to this is tilting while on the ground and flinging pedestrians.
2. how many cop cars can i steal before i die? 9 was my record.
3. how fast can you go and what can you hit to fling you as far as you can be flung? i was on a motorcycle we cheated up that FLIES - i was doing the equiv of about 200 mph and WHAT into a car and i shot up and must have went what would in "real life" be 3/4 of a mile 1/2 way across the river landing in the middle of it so i didn't die.
4. watching thabigp just go nuts. he's pulled some amazing stunts and "die hard" moments with him flinging a helicopter into a tunnel while he gets out and walks calmly back up the street as in the background the helicopter demolishes just about everything around.
5. ok, more of a wish list - but i'd love to be able to cheat on the xbox like you do on the pc. change the parameters of cars you like, but hell, i'd buy cars and add ons as time goes on to keep it up to date. it would be KILLER to have a challenger, or a 70 charger general lee runnin around with mounted guns.

I'm stoked for Saints Row 3rd just because of how they're gearing it for people to just fuck around with. A cannon that sucks people up and you can fire them into a wall or just send 'em launching? Sold.
The Wrestling Nerd in me is looking forward to WWE '12. those games always get plenty of life out of me.
Badlands 2 comes out sometime next year. Another game i thoroughly loved. And anything inolving Fallout (Since i've been a fan of 'em since, you know. it was a turn-based RPG on the pc.)

Gaming!! Yay!! I'm a big gamer. Mainly console but I'm playing WoW now on the comp. The Lego games are fun but I'm stoked for the release of Batman: Arkham City. Have it pre-ordered and ready to go!

i can't do WoW. maybe it's because i played the computer games of old and remember touching the players and getting funny sayings out of them. touch the female elf enough and she'd say "i don't see you touching the other players like that" and every "character" would have their own set of things to keep saying as you "touch them".

on my wish list i need thabigp to make me get this done - is to turn my mini-computer on my plasma tv into a multi-console machine that does MAME and every emulator i can find for every game console ever made.

anyone ever buy those 6 games in a joystick type stuff? at best buy you buy a usb "joystick" that has 6 arcade games in it - those were fun but got old quick.
