Jason Garrett needs to step up and be a leader for Dallas Cowboys

First came the very generic radio show question last week:
"Who are the leaders on the team?"
Then came the answer that quickly led to an overblown local debate:
"Uh... Dude. I got to be honest with you. Uh ...that's a good question. [Pause] I really don't know, man."
Thank you, Jason Hatcher, for your honesty, even if his honesty suddenly shoved Hatcher into a bit of turmoil that a Valley Ranch foot soldier had avoided for six seasons of barely above the radar work at defensive end.
Hatcher is not a premier name, but he's an OK player for the Cowboys, and certainly someone with a grasp of the locker room and team scene.
But it was also his answer that quickly led to an overreaction along the lines of: Hey, there it is. There's the Cowboys' problem. No team leaders.
I don't think so. At least, I don't think it's necessarily a problem, even if the lack of a player, or players, in a strong team leadership role has appeared to be the case for awhile.
