Wonderful, but will Holder be held accountable?

WASHINGTON – Attorney General Eric Holder suggested Thursday that weapons lost during the course of the failed "Fast and Furious" gunrunning operation will continue to show up at crime scenes in the U.S. and Mexico "for years to come."

Holder denied department leaders played any role in the crafting of Fast and Furious. He continued to assert that top Justice officials were not told about the "inappropriate tactics" until they were made public.

Well, let's for the sake of shits and giggles, say for a moment we'd like to entertain this foolish notion, wouldn't such a complete and utter lack of competence in managing your departments affairs prove to be pretty damned inept and dangerous?

ben, a friend that sits across me me who i wish would come in here said he didn't know much about it overall but:

1) he either knew and needs to be fired
or
2) didn't know and he's a dumbass and needs to be fired

at least we found a commonality here.

No one knows much about it overall. Bigger news like a Bachmann gaff or some celebrity crime is food for the day.

Meanwhile, let's review:
Holder uses this to make a case for "Gun Control", hopefully to further the disarming of our own population.
Obama insists raising taxes and even more regulation will do us a favor as it forces jobs overseas and decimates our middle class and creating a larger pool of poor people.
Clinton calling for a full investigation into another country's elections, pretty much stating there exists a larger world body that trumps national sovereignty.

So, when our country is in turmoil, a world body will be called in to 'restore order' and will be faced with an unarmed populace to do it against.

No, not counter culture hippies at all. Nothing to see here, go back to your video game.

Speaking of video games, I've been dusting off my Tom Clancy series: Rainbow Six (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tom_Clancy's_Rainbow_Six_(video_game)), Rogue Spear (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tom_Clancy's_Rainbow_Six:_Rogue_Spear), Ghost Recon (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tom_Clancy's_Ghost_Recon), Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 1 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tom_Clancy's_Ghost_Recon_Advanced_Warfighter) & 2 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tom_Clancy's_Ghost_Recon_Advanced_Warfighter_2). Some are pretty darn old at this point ... *scratches head* Not sure why I felt like playing those games again... I'm sure it's nothing.

No I won't take an oath and I'll retract my lies when they are proven to be lies.

California Republican Darrell Issa, who has led the investigation of Fast and Furious, sought — without success — to force the Attorney General to take a formal oath to tell the truth. He later declared Holder a hostile witness.

"The blame must go to your desk and you must today, take the real responsibility," Issa said. "Why haven't you terminated the many people involved?"

Issa also brought up a letter the Justice Department sent to Congress in February which said the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) moved whenever it could to seize guns before they went to Mexico. But that turned out to be false, and the Justice Department retracted the statement.
