tired of the "big" cowboys sites

it seems all they do is get mad.

if you lose, we get mad and want a new coach every year.
if we win we get mad at something else and want a new owner every year.

i need to take a break from cbz and just have fun watching the season and not bickering over stupid stuff then getting mods telling me how to post. i got a warning because someone commented on being able to see the ignored posters was a pain and i said "yea and i'd pay reality to install the mod that makes the ignored people go away completely" and i was told i can't say such things in the forums.

i guess it's just gotten so big they represent the baseline fans who shout a lot but say nothing are ok and anyone tired of it is the bad guy.

so i'll be venting in here more often and hope some of the old crowd returns.

I haven't tried to actually post anything in the cbz forums in forever. I just read the articles and rarely even do that anymore. Ever since they started with the advertising it has turned into total douchery, and it was already semi-douchery.

There are plenty of other active Cowboys forums out there that will let you speek much more freely. But to be honest, I've pretty much gotten away from Cowboys message boards altogether. It's all the same opinion regurgitated in many different ways. Jerry Sux as GM........ad nauseum. Plus I tend to know and understand more about the history of football than most, and I've grown tired of the average ignorant rah rah idiot.

I like a board about the size of the orgional DMN forum. I hate a board where you have to be there 24/7 or there are 10 pages of responses by the time you read a post. Nope, I think we likely had 30-40 fulltime posters on the old DMN, and that was about right, Philly Billy lol, what a cast of characters.
