New York's Grimm Jack has been considered one of America's best rock and roll bands. Weather playing live or in the studio recording, their a hard-driving but melodic act. The band has often been compared to Guns n' Roses, Alice Cooper and Aerosmith, with a bit of southern bluesy flavor thrown in. The group developed legions of loyal fans and earned a reputation as a solid live act through energetic performances and their radio-friendly music. Songs such as "Shy Boy," "One Track Mind," "Maybelline," "Lookin' For Heaven," and "Love Will Save The Day" all achieved regular airplay on FM rock radio everywhere.
Critically acclaimed in legendary rock publications CIRCUS, HIT PARADER, EAST COAST ROCKER, and numerous other national and regional music magazines, the band was a hot item during the late 1980's and early 1990's. Signed to independent label CYN CITY RECORDS, fans and critics alike predicted Grimm Jack was next in line to grasp a major label deal and become an arena rock headliner, but the likes of Nirvana burst on the scene and the demand for alternative sounds became the rage.
Grimm Jack celebrated their twenty-fifth anniversary in 2010 and has been steadily connecting with fans new and old. The Full Length version of “Partners in Crime: Accessory After the Fact ” was released to the world and the band has been playing dates, writing and recording new material. In 2012, Grimm Jack released the “Damned” EP; containing three new classics which critics have been gave favorable reviews. In 2015, the latest release Thick As Thieves is available on iTunes, CDBaby, Ebay and Amazon.
