Sick Puppies

Sick Puppies is an Australian rock[1] band, formed in 1997. Sick Puppies rose to prominence in 2006 when their song "All the Same" was uploaded along with a video to YouTube. The video supported the Free Hugs Campaign which was launched in Sydney, and has since received over 77 million views on the website. This success followed up with Dressed Up as Life in 2007, which entered the Billboard 200 at number 181. Their third studio album, released on 14 July 2009, is titled Tri-Polar. The band's fourth studio album Connect was released on 16 July 2013. They released their fifth studio album Fury on May 20, 2016 with new vocalist Bryan Scott after Shimon Moore left the band on October 2014. (wiki)

Deaf Havana - All These Countless Nights

Deaf HavanaA former "icepick" in early 2016, we discovered this band through general surfing. Song by song they're taking over the UK scene with tours all across Europe and their new release All These Countless Nights will be another review here on Renegade Radio soon. Initial songs and impressions are as positive as always.

From their Wiki site:

Deaf Havana was formed when the original members met at the King's Lynn campus of The College of West Anglia. The band's roots can, however, be traced back much further with Ryan Mellor, James Veck-Gilodi and Lee Wilson all attending Smithdon High School and playing together in various local scene bands. At college, these members were joined by Tom Ogden and Sebastian Spitz. This early lineup saw Veck-Gilodi singing and Mellor taking guitar and vocal duties. The name "Deaf Havana" came from former guitarist Sebastian Spitz, however the name itself has no literal meaning.[1] The band wrote songs and a demo White Lines But No Camera was recorded in August 2006 at The Lodge, Northampton. The band toured this lineup until Chris Pennells replaced Spitz. Pennells was formerly a member of the band Something About Dave. Around the same time, Mellor handed over guitar parts to Veck-Gilodi, and took on the lead role. (more)
